Comedian Jo Caulfield, recognised through appearances on Mock The Week and Have I Got News For You, will bring her 'Here Comes Trouble' tour to Carlisle.
Voted as 'Comedians’ Comedian of The Year 2022', Jo Caulfield delivers a 90-minute set of observant humour and one-liners touching on everything from train travel disagreements to assisting a newly single friend navigate dating.
The comedian said: “My tour show is a collection of my favourite jokes from my last three Edinburgh Fringe shows and some brand-new material about what I’ve been up to since I was last on the road, so I think it’s going to be a lot of fun to get out there and tell these stories, and generally talk about everything that’s happened – and everything that’s currently annoying me."
2023 saw the publication of Jo's debut book, 'The Funny Thing About Death'.
The memoir explores her relationship with her older sister, author and comedy writer, Annie Caulfield, their childhood and Annie's cancer diagnosis.
All profits from this book are being donated to MacMillan Cancer Support, a charity for which Jo has already raised more than £50,000 since 2017.
The book will be available for purchase at the end of the show, which will take place on March 3 at The Old Fire Station.
