A coastguard team has shared a further tribute to a member who died last year.
William Douglas worked at the Maryport Coastguard Rescue Team and was described as a 'valued and beloved member of the team' who will be a 'massive miss'.
A spokesperson from the team said: "He will be remembered for his sense of humour, and his positive attitude on callouts at all hours of the day.
To leave on a positive memory, during September 2022, Will was on a callout at Rockcliffe Marsh, during which, Maryport's DSO leaned on an electric fence whilst on the phone to our operations centre at Belfast Coastguard.
"Amidst the panic of our DSO, Will was in hysterics of laughter.
"That laughter will resonate in our hearts forever.
"Rest in peace MPT 10, you will be missed."
