A Cumbrian community business has been awarded with its largest and longest ever contracts for work on nuclear site Sellafield.
William King Construction will be supporting the Programme and Project Partners (PPP) over the next 16 years as they undertake key decommissioning projects at the site.
The firm’s engagement in this project marks the latest company to gain from PPP's small to medium enterprise matchmaker service, securing a 15-year groundwork and concrete framework to assist key delivery partner Sir Robert McAlpine in the delivery of the KDP8 project.

Additionally, the firm is launching its work on the SRP project, a venture worth an estimated £4 million and representing the business's largest endeavor yet.
The company's diverse portfolio of services, including support for high hazard reduction in the nuclear industry, has helped to establish its reputation within the sector, having already acquired numerous significant contracts at Sellafield.
The extended contracts will grant the business the opportunity and stability to invest in the future talent of the community, fostering its apprenticeship scheme and providing employment opportunities.
The firm now has plans to grow its training offerings and has recently launched The Brick Trainer, a mobile brick training station to inspire young people about the prospects of a career in construction.
John Rossiter, PPP head of supply chain, said: "SMEs like William King Construction are vital for PPP to deliver both world class infrastructure and support tangible outcomes and benefits for the West Cumbrian community.
"I'm delighted that William King Construction is the next SME to secure a long-term framework with PPP, which will help support its future growth and expansion.
"We're proud to have businesses like William King Construction and entrepreneurs like Will in our supply chain and we're excited to see the business and its commitments to West Cumbria continue to flourish."
Will King, founder of the company, said: "Securing long-term contracts and frameworks within the PPP portfolio of work enables us to continue to grow our business and keep up our momentum of employing local people, from apprentices to professionals.
"Our involvement with PPP and the longevity this brings will only help us to further increase our offering to the local area over the coming years."
