Cumbrian performer Dom Simpson shone on the big stage in a major musicals show on prime time television.
The West End star wowed the audience at the Big Night of Musicals 2024.
Simpson, who is the youngest son of Carlisle United manager Paul, plays the lead role of Christian in Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
The 28-year-old was joined by co-star Tanisha Spring, who plays Satine, to perform one of the songs from their West End show.

Simpson and Spring received a standing ovation after their rendition of Your Song.
And a national audience got to see the talented Cumbrian with the performance broadcast by BBC One on Saturday night.
They were among a host of stage stars, including Beverley Knight and Alfie Boe, performing for a sell-out audience at Manchester's AO Arena.
The event took place on January 22 and was shown on television five days later.
Host Jason Manford described Simpson and Spring as "sensational leads" in Moulin Rouge! and later said their performance was "incredible stuff".
Simpson also received plenty of acclaim on social media after his TV appearance.

Simpson has played the part of Christian since the show opened last October, having previously starred in Book of Mormon in the West End.
The Cumbrian has had a meteoric rise in the world of musical theatre after graduating from the Arts Educational School in west London.
