A WEST Cumbrian man has appeared in court accused of attempted murder.
Lee Walker, 32, of Seven Acres, Parton, Whitehaven, is accused of attempting to murder a man in Cleator Moor on Saturday, January 27.
He also faces two charges of possessing a knife in a public place and charges of assault causing actual bodily harm and assault of an emergency worker.
Walker did not indicate any pleas to the alleged offences when he appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The defendant was remanded in custody to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on February 26.
