A MAN accused of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent has been remanded in custody.
Gareth Skillen, 41, did not enter a plea when he appeared before Workington Magistrates’ Court for a brief hearing on Monday.
The offence is alleged to have taken place in Cockermouth on January 22.
Skillen, of Ribton Close, Cockermouth, was remanded in custody and will appear at Carlisle Crown Court on February 26.
