A NEW series featuring Barrow's own Hairy Biker airs next week.
The new seven episode series, called The Hairy Bikers Go West, takes Dave Myers and Si King on a nostalgic trip down memory lane to places close to their hearts.
The first chapter will appear on BBC Two on February 6 between 7pm and 8pm.
Watch The Bikers reunite before travelling down the west coast of the UK, starting in Scotland and ending in Devon.
Over a number of weeks Dave and Si travel through ten counties and cover over 600 miles on their quest to explore and reveal hidden gems.
Their foodie adventure takes The Bikers to the region where they first met and places that have shaped them, with Dave making an emotional homecoming to the county he was born in.
After beginning their journey on the west coast of Scotland, they journey through Lancashire, Merseyside, North Wales, Bristol, and finally Devon and Dorset.
Along the way, The Bikers discover a host of inspiring local producers doing their bit to celebrate an area’s rich diversity, learn about the future of food production, and track down a new generation of young farmers driven by sustainability.
The restaurants, recipes, and inventive new food entrepreneurs encountered by The Bikers inspire them to cook up a storm of delicious recipes.
Tune in to see a range of dishes from a Chicken Balmoral with truffle mash and a poached lobster served with Scottish Bucatini pasta, to Lamb chop pakoras with traditional Persian rice and a Lancashire Butter and Potato Pie.
