A RISING star in the comedy world will be bringing his first-ever UK tour to Carlisle's Old Fire Station.
Red Richardson, who has been in the spotlight before on Ricky Gervais and Friends and ITV2's The Stand Up Sketch Show, will be playing the venue on October 3 this year.
Richardson's tour promises an evening of stand-up comedy that seeks to be as entertaining as it is eclectic, featuring such topics as 'mullets, dictators and the benefits of drinking alone'.
A noteworthy aspect of his work is his series of 'Stay Toxic' online sketches, which have garnered over 30 million views as of last year.
Comedian Harry Enfield said: "Utterly brilliant, honest, ridiculous, engaging, hilarious. Red is the best type of one-off original. He is a master."
Tickets for the gig are currently on sale now via the Old Fire Station website.
