PLANS have been put forward to change a former flooring shop into a tattoo parlour in Carlisle.
The sui generis application for 30A Grey Street has been submitted to Cumberland Council by The Cult Tattoo Studio.
The building used to be home to Grey Street Flooring.
If plans are approved, it will be the business' first location.
The design and access statement reads: "The business is a start-up and the proposed use of this unit would be the first location under our company name: ‘The Cult Tattoos’.
"The existing floor space is sufficient for the small number of artists that will be based in the premises.
"The unit does not require any development, alterations or building work, and is fit for purpose of use," it reads.
Three full-time employees are proposed to be brought on board with the business.
