THE driver of a stolen vehicle was tasered in Carlisle this morning after ramming a police vehicle.
A chase ensued after the vehicle was spotted by Cumbria Roads Police & Firearms Support Unit at around 7am (February, 4) in the city.
The car was detained in the Westrigg Road area of the city, where the driver was tasered after 'resisting' arrest.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Roads Police & Firearms Support Unit said: "7am morning spot by FSU/RPU of a stolen vehicle in Carlisle.
