A TEMPORARY road closure will be in place for a week in Wetheral due to resurfacing works.
Resurfacing works are set to begin from February 5 to 13 between the Wheatsheaf Inn and Wetheral Community Hall.
These works will stretch across seven days, from 8am to 5pm daily, excluding the weekends, weather permitting.
Residents and businesses needing access to properties are requested to coordinate with the site staff.
A spokesperson from Cumberland Council said: "We appreciate your support and patience during these works and apologise for any inconvenience and disruption caused – and please remember businesses in the area remain open."
