Penrith residents are invited to a Blood Bikes Cumbria fundraiser at Dutton Lodge this month.
Churchill Retirement Living is holding the Winter Warmer event which will take place on February 22.
Lisa Obertelli, area sales manager for Churchill Retirement Living, said: "We’re looking forward to welcoming people to our Winter Warmer event to raise funds for such a great charity, to help it continue its vital work.
"Every penny counts, which is why we’re asking as many people as possible to come along and support the event and make a donation in return for the refreshments on offer.
"It’s the perfect excuse to enjoy a bit of indulgence, as well as an opportunity for visitors to experience the lifestyle, friendship and community spirit on offer here."
The fundraiser starts from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and guests will be welcomed into the Owners’ Lounge for a warm cup of coffee, cake, and a chat.
The event is open to everyone in exchange for a small donation.
The Winter Warmer fundraiser will take place across the country throughout February, with all funds raised given to local causes chosen by Churchill Retirement Living's apartment owners and colleagues.
All proceeds from the Penrith event will contribute directly to Blood Bikes Cumbria which will enable the charity to continue running its critical emergency medical courier services for regional hospitals.
Dutton Lodge is a one and two bedroom apartments designed for independent living, including a sociable Owners’ Lounge, a Guest Suite, a Lodge Manager, and a 24-hour emergency Careline service.
