A Scotby church is set to host a pancake event which will represent a 'celebration of community'.
All Saints’ Church is located in the village on the outskirts of Carlisle and will host its community pancake event on Tuesday, February 6 between 4 pm and 5:30 pm.
The event, which promises 'fun, flavour, and fantastic company', will feature a colouring corner for children and children's songs, as well as a competition to Scotby's pancake tossing champion.
Speaking about the event on social media, they said: "Pancake Day is more than just food; it's a celebration of community.
"Bring your loved ones and create sweet memories together. Enjoy an afternoon of laughter, joy, and community spirit."
"Whether you come with your family, friends, or as a solo pancake enthusiast, you'll be greeted with open arms and a warm welcome.
