More top marks for food hygiene were given out to food and drink businesses in Cumbria.
Recent inspections have resulted in many five-out-of-five ratings for businesses in the Cumberland Council area, meaning few are graded poorly and very few are rated one-out-of-five.

The Food Standards Agency’s website shows newly released ratings for eight places to eat and drink.
The following ratings have been given out to six places categorised as restaurants, cafés, or canteens:

• Rated 5: Cafe Carnegie at Carnegie Theatre And Arts Centre Finkle Street Workington Ca14 2bd; rated on January 27
• Rated 5: M's at 4c Station Street Cockermouth Ca13 9qw; rated on January 27
• Rated 5: Cater 4 You; rated on January 25
• Rated 5: Spring Lea at Spring Lea Leisure Centre Moss Lane Allonby Maryport Ca15 6qf; rated on January 25
• Rated 5: Holme St Cuthbert School at Holme St Cuthberts School Mawbray Maryport Ca15 6qz; rated on January 24
One rating has been handed to a pub/bar:
• Rated 5: Workington An F C Ltd at Workington An F C Ltd Borough Park Workington Ca14 2dt; rated on January 26
Plus one rating for a takeaway:
• Rated 5: Mamma Mia's at 14 Oxford Street Workington Ca14 2ah; rated on January 24
