BITTS Park is set to be transformed into a community 'Show and Tell' event this Spring.
On May 19, from 10am to 4pm, a stage will be set up highlighting local businesses and promoting mental health awareness in what will be a jam-packed afternoon.
The programme includes live music on offer throughout the day, which will be arranged by Rock With, a music promotions company.
Recognition was given to Stephen Dunn, Cumberland Council Communities & Culture officer, for spearheading the project.
In a post on social media, Rock With, said: "This event has been gathering pace over the recent months and includes local businesses and invites the whole community to provide support and awareness for mental health issues.
"Any acts interested in getting involved please drop us a message, this event is still in the planning stages but the momentum is growing and growing so please get involved."
