A charity has said that it is 'incredibly grateful' after a Carlisle business raised over £400.
James Watson, the owner of the business, previously said that it was 'nice' to be able to raise the money for the local charity, and now the hospice has put on record its thanks for the fundraiser.
A spokesperson for Eden Valley Hospice said: "At Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw we see an awful lot of kindness all year round, but in particular people are extra generous at Christmas time.
"We'd like to say a big thank you to James and his team for extending that Christmas spirit into the new year by offering tree collections around Carlisle in return for donations to the hospice.
"We're incredibly grateful to James and all those who made a donation which will help ensure compassionate care is there for local people when it is needed most."
