A popular Cumbrian restaurant and bar will re-open tomorrow after being closed for renovations.
The Secret Garden, on Pooley Bridge Main Street in Penrith, has been closed since the beginning of the year due to renovations in the bar.
Although the closure has been longer than anticipated, with the work initially only expected to take a couple of weeks, The Secret Garden confirmed earlier this week that they would officially reopen at 11.30am on Friday, February 9.
On Facebook, they wrote: "The Secret Garden will be reopening at 11.30am on Friday and will be open for lunch and evening meals every day of the week, and our very popular Sunday roast back 12pm to 5pm
"We can’t wait to see you and to see our small renovations to our restaurant!
"A big thank you to everyone in helping with our changes and especially to our general manager Andrew Bateman for the amazing design of inside the restaurant and the bar!"
