AFTER an eagerly anticipated wait, Trailfinders officially opened its doors to customers in Carlisle this week.
The travel company, which has offered tailormade travel services worldwide for over 50 years, confirmed in January that it would be opening its 44th centre in the border city.
Anyone who has walked down English street in recent months may have noticed the boarded-up shop and signage promising a Trailfinders in 2024.
Those boards and shutters were lifted to reveal a sleek, modern travel centre which opened on Friday, February 9.
Trailfinders had already welcomed a number of customers on Friday morning to help out with any holiday needs, while balloons and champagne were also on display.
Trailfinders said: "Trailfinders is delighted to have just opened our 44th high street travel centre at 17-19 English Street, right in the heart of Carlisle.
"Renowned for our expertise in tailormade holidays worldwide, several people have already visited our new travel centre to enquire about their next holiday and we look forward to showcasing our services to all in and around the Carlisle area."
