A Ukrainian concert organist will be bringing a magical experience to Carlisle Cathedral as she performs 'Harry Potter and the Wizarding Organ'.
Ewa Belmas will play her own musical transcriptions from the first three Harry Potter films, originally composed by John Williams, at the Cathedral on May 29.
The performance, free of charge, is expected to last around 1 hour.
An optional end-of-event collection will be conducted to support the artist and the Cathedral.
Attendees are encouraged, though not obliged, to book free tickets to assist in event planning.
Fans are also welcome, but not required, to attend in fancy dress as their favourite Harry Potter characters.
For those looking to get something in the diary a bit sooner, the next event at the Cathedral is an organ recital featuring David T.Shingler, on February 14 at 2pm.
The weekly music sessions by guests such as the Dunelm Duo, Kenneth Wilson, the Ciambri Trio and Tim Beattie will continue in the coming weeks, while Edward Taylor will wrap up the series on March 27 with another organ recital.
