MOBO-winning pianist Zoe Rahman and Scottish saxophonist Laura MacDonald are set to grace Brampton's Live at Union Lane on February 24.
Classified as "a remarkable pianist by any standard", Ms Rahman has ingrained herself in the contemporary jazz scene.
Alongside her individual achievements, she has played and recorded with Courtney Pine, Jerry Dammers’ Spatial AKA Orchestra, Martha Wainwright, among others.
Ms MacDonald has recorded with UK and US leading players such as the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, David Berkman and Donny McAuslin.
In 2021, under the name Laura Michael, she participated in BBC's Masterchef, securing a spot in the final six, and bagged the "Instrumentalist of the Year" at the Scottish Jazz Awards 2021.
David Gosling, the curator and presenter of the programme, said support from the people of Brampton and surrounding area as the driving force behind Live at Union Lane's success.
Tickets are £15 and are available from Brampton Community Centre or online at www.bramptoncc.org.uk/liveatunionlane.
