CUMBRIA Police Rural Crime team held a conference this week.
This event welcomed officers from both in Cumbria and further afield, along with partners and volunteers.
The Rural Crime Conference was held at Brathay Trust and was supported by the Cumbria police and crime commissioner and attended by ACC Stalker.
A spokesperson said: "Colleagues from the North showcased how they tackle rural crime in their forces, with some great innovative ideas.
"These opportunities allow us to network adopt best practices and build long-term processes.
"We share borders and customers but together we are all committed to working together to fight rural crime, and keep our communities safe.
"As well as taking some great initiatives from this, it will lead to improved cross-border patrols and investigations.
"We are proud of what we've achieved in five months and are grateful to all those who attended and who have supported us during this time.
"And a final shout out to our fantastic followers who share, like, and interact to ensure Cumbria remains a hostile environment for travelling criminals."
