Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW) has introduced a new role to showcase the work of its charity.
Daria Ansari-Saeid, a former marketing assistant in the Trust's communications team, has assumed the position of marketing officer for the SHINE fund.
The newly established role, funded by NHS Charities Together, concentrates on devising a fundraising strategy for SHINE which aims to amplify the charity's profile and bolster donations.
Since taking on the role in August 2023, Ms Ansari-Saeid has contributed to various fundraisers and is looking at new ways to support the charity.
She also played a role in the charity's re-launch which saw it take on new branding.
She said: “I’m really excited to continue helping the charity grow so that it can support more people in our services with improved environments, resources and activities.
“By raising awareness of the different projects that funding from SHINE has made possible, I hope to share the positive impact the charity has made to the wellbeing and experience of patients receiving care in our services.
“SHINE really does make a difference to people’s lives, and I hope that by amplifying the message we are able to gain more support."
