IN this edition of nostalgia, we are looking back at school trips across Cumbria.
Whether you were taking a trip abroad to places like France, Holland, Germany or even further afield. Or you perhaps you went up the road to Scotland, or down the road further into the Lakes.
You may have even stayed close to home. No matter where you went, everyone looked forward to school trip day, going out exploring somewhere new, staying overnight in a new place or most importantly, a day or two off timetable!
One picture shows students from the Eden School in Carlisle who made a trip to Asda in Kingstown to do some shopping in 1991. The small secondary school in Rickerby was eventually closed in the mid 1990s
Another photo shows Caldew School pupils who took a fishing trip to Renwick Fell.
