Four youths were arrested in Workington town centre for failing to comply with a dispersal order.
It comes as a response to a surge in youth crime and anti-social behaviour in the area.
The dispersal order remains in place in the town centre until Thursday, February 15 at 4pm.
A spokesperson from Allerdale Police said: "Allerdale NPT have been out on patrol this evening in response to the ongoing reports of youth crime and antisocial behaviour in Workington town centre.
"As previously reported a dispersal order has been put in place for the town centre until 16.00 on Thursday 15th February 2024.
"This evening a number of youths were issued with dispersal notices in the town centre.
"Four failed to comply with the notice given to them which resulted in their arrest."
