CASTLETOWN Gardens in Rockcliffe will be opening its doors to the public once again for an open air theatre theatre event.

The production is A Midsummer Night’s Dream by The HandleBards who are an eco friendly theatre company, cycling the length of the UK to deliver family friendly productions at various locations across the UK and they are coming to the historic Castletown house and gardens.

The event will take place at the Castletown Gardens, Rockcliffe, CA6 4BN on July 23 2024 at 6.30pm. 

Reviews for the event by The HandleBards have flooded in, The Stage said it was: "Gloriously eccentric and very, very funny."

Melanie Bartlett said it was "fun and interactive for the children, we loved it!"

Last year, the Castletown house and gardens opened its doors to the public for the first time in the estates history which back to the 1800s.
