A Whitehaven systems integrator has quadrupled its workforce and bolstered its turnover from £6.4 million to £7.3 million since 2020.
Delkia now employs 56 workers and 37 consultant engineers across three facilities, a significant jump from the 15 employees in 2020.
They service the Clean Energy, Aerospace and Maritime sectors, contributing to several large scale safety and mission-critical infrastructure projects in the UK.
Trudy Harrison, MP for Copeland, visited to assess the changes to Delkia since her last visit a year ago.
She said: "It was fantastic to revisit Delkia and see the impressive growth they have made.
"They are a real Cumbrian success story offering a vital service as specialist systems integrators to protect lives and assets.
"I am sure they will go from strength to strength."
Leading this expansive path is Kurt Canfield, chief executive officer, who said: "It's great to welcome Trudy Harrison back to Delkia and show her just how much progress we have made in the last 4 years.
"We focus relentlessly on offering the best in design, engineering, and systems integration to our customers.
"This is why we invest in R&D and opened new facilities in Preston – to meet customers’ needs in Aerospace, Clean Energy and Maritime sectors not just today but in ten years’ time.
"We have long-term vision to be the UK's leading engineering and technology partner for safety-related and mission-critical systems, driven by our purpose to protect lives and critical assets."
Delkia will make its first appearance at the Farnborough Air Show in July.
