A CARLISLE wedding venue has won a national award.
Skitby House located in Smithfield, north of Carlisle, was announced as a winner in the Hitched Wedding Awards 2024.
It won in the wedding venue category, making it one of the most valued and most recommended vendors by couples who get married there and on Hitched.co.uk.
Skitby House announced the news on their social media, and said: "Thank you so much to our amazing couples, our team and suppliers for your support."
The Hitched Wedding Awards recognises the best wedding venues and suppliers from across the UK based on the reviews from their clients. This year, more than 23,000 wedding businesses took part in the awards process.
The awards for this year's set of winners were allocated based on reviews and opinions from over 150,000 couples who have used the Hitched platform to plan their wedding.
