Two local rescue teams were called out to the Lake District over the weekend after a walker suffered a 'probable broken leg'.
Both Keswick Mountain Rescue Team and Great North Air Ambulance Service attended White Side fell in the Lake District on Sunday, February 18.
They were called out at 10.10am on Sunday, and the incident was cleared after three hours, with 16 team members involved.
On Facebook, Keswick MRT wrote: "An unfortunate slip whilst descending a benign looking path off White Side resulted in a probable broken lower leg. Helimed 58 quickly deployed and landed on nearby Brown Crag whilst Keswick team made their way up the hill. The Helimed paramedics provided pain relief and treated the man ready for a haul on the stretcher over to the helicopter, and then onward to hospital.
"As well as GNAAS thanks to Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team (LAMRT) for covering two additional call outs over the weekend whilst we were otherwise engaged."
