A sound and light show in Carlisle has been touted a "resounding success" after drawing thousands of visitors.
Over 4,500 people watched 'The Light District: Crown and Coronation' show between Thursday 15 and Saturday, February 17 at Carlisle Cathedral and Carlisle Castle.
The Crown Jewels, 300 miles away from its home at the Tower of London, travelling to Carlisle certainly added some spectacle to the event.

The show explored the history of coronations in an immersive experience.
In addition to the main event, other landmarks within Carlisle were also illuminated, including the Citadels, Court Square, Crown & Mitre Hotel, Civic Centre, the former Hoopers’ building, and the Guildhall.
This event was brought to life with the support of Cumberland Council’s destination management team, Carlisle Cathedral, English Heritage, and funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Councillor Anne Quilter, the council’s executive member for vibrant and healthy places, said: "We were delighted to welcome the Historic Royal Palaces and Luxmuralis event to Carlisle as the first event within our new Light District programme.
"The event was a resounding success and attracted thousands of visitors.
"I would like to thank everyone involved - especially our destination management team and the support staff who made the event run so smoothly.”
The showcase has been created by Historic Royal Palaces - the charity that cares for the Tower of London - and Luxmuralis.
The show features detailed footage of the Crown Jewels, the all-important objects within the coronation ceremony, projected onto Carlisle’s historic buildings.
After a nine-day run at the fortress, the show is set to embark on a UK-wide tour.
It will present the story of the Crown Jewels at some of the country's most notable historic landmarks and locations.
Visitors can look forward to another sound and light show, 'Space: God, The Universe and Everything', set to be held at St Bees Priory on the evenings of Thursday 14 and Friday, March 15.
Tickets are available for £4 and are available to buy at discovercarlisle.co.uk or at Carlisle's Tourist Information Centre, The Beacon Museum, Whitehaven and St Bees post office.
