A pub in Alston is actively seeking new management to breathe new life into the venue.
The Angel Inn, believed to be around over 400 years old, is currently closed while the search for a licensee is ongoing.
Admiral Taverns is offering a financial package to assist with its reopening, offering a starting rent of £100 per week and £1,000 towards the first beer order.
This traditional local pub offers three letting rooms along with an external courtyard, garnering stunning views across the countryside.
Despite being based in a lively tourist area, it fosters a loyal local client base.
According to Admiral Taverns, the annual rent is set at £15,000.
It also comes with private accommodation consisting of two double bedrooms, a bathroom and a sitting room.
Samantha Banks, business development manager at Admiral Taverns, said: "We have a brilliant opportunity available at the Angel Inn, in Alston for an experienced licensee to take over this traditional local community pub.
"Rich with history, the pub hosts three beautiful letting rooms, as well as an external courtyard with stunning views.
"It’s located in a tourist area but also hosts a very loyal strong customer community.
"The incoming licensee should have ambitious plans to be involved with the local community, hosting a regular schedule of entertainment.
"Alongside a strong support system from Admiral Taverns, we will also be offering a superb financial package, which includes a starting rent of £100 per week and £1,000 towards the first beer order.
"Anyone interested should please get in touch on 01244 321171.”
