British singer-songwriter John Bramwell is taking his latest album The Light Fantastic on tour with a scheduled performance in Carlisle in March.
The gig will take place at the Old Fire Station, as part of his string of shows to promote the new album, which will be released through Townsend Music on Friday, February 23.
The album's first single, 'A World Full Of Flowers', offers a glimpse into the new tracks that according to John “are the most uplifting songs of my career," distinct from his earlier sound with the Manchester band, I Am Kloot, who were mercury prize nominees in 2010.

The 12-track album features the artist's own compositions, but 'Nobody Left But You' was co-written with album producer Dave Fidler.
“After both my Mum and Dad died, I started writing these songs to cheer myself up,” said John.
“The themes are taken from my dreams at the time. Wake up and take whatever impression I had from what I could remember of my dream and write that.”
Tickets for the Carlisle performance at the Old Fire Station on March 27 are available now, costing £25 per person.
