CUMBRIA Police have been tackling speeding in parts of the county.
Officers have been in the Allerdale area monitoring the speed drivers were going.
Speeding is proving to be a problem in some places and the police are doing what they can to tackle the issue.
A spokesperson said: "PCSO 5375 has been out in the area of Great Broughton today conducting speed checks.
"I am pleased to say most drivers were sticking to the speed limit but not everyone.
"It's 30mph for a reason.
"Please pay attention to the national speed limit in the area and drive carefully."
