Police are targeting an area of West Cumbria to identify people driving illegal bikes and damaging greenery.
Cumbria police met with Steven Stoddart, councillor for Moorclose, to discuss the issue.
“We will be targeting the area to hopefully identify those responsible, which will result in the seizure of bikes and prosecution under Section 2 of the Road Traffic Act 1988,” a police spokesperson said.
Any information on such crimes can be reported to 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously.
