Cumbria Police have made two recent arrests amid drug supply concerns in the Eden district.
Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) continue to act upon community intelligence, conducting warrants to address drug supply concerns in the community.
Officers from Eden NPT assisted by officers from the Tactical Support Group and dog section, carried out an early morning warrant under the misuse of drugs act, in the area of Tyne Close Terrace, Penrith on Friday 16 February
Officers searched the property and seized a quantity of cash and drugs paraphernalia.
As a result, a man in his thirties was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. He has been bailed while enquiries continue.
Later, that day, a vehicle was stopped that was believed to be transporting drugs to the Tyne Close Terrace area.
A large quantity of white powder was located inside the vehicle and seized. A man in his thirties was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. He has been bailed while enquiries continue.
This follows five arrests at the end of January during a separate warrant in the Appleby area.
The seizures form part of Operation Alliance - Cumbria Constabulary’s ongoing response to protect the county against serious and organised crime.
Inspector Mo Bibby, Eden NPT, who led the warrants, said: "These warrants and searches have been conducted as part of our ongoing efforts to target and disrupt drug supply within our communities.
"I would like to thank local residents across Eden for their patience whilst we have carried out enquiries and for their support in reporting these issues to us.
"Information we receive from the community is vital to help us build intelligence on drug use and take action against any illegal activity in our neighbourhoods.
"If anyone has any information to share, please speak to your local PCSO or local Community Beat Officer for your area. You can also report online or via Crimestoppers anonymously."
If you or anyone you know suspects an address in your neighbourhood is being used for drug dealing, drug related offences or associated in another crime, please report via 101 or online at www.cumbria.police/report-it
