CUMBRIA Police have been working with a councillor to tackle the use of off-road bikes.
The area that is being affected is Moorclose in Workington where residents are concerned about the use of vehicles on the green area.
Officers have been speaking with a councillor to see what can be done to deal with the issue.
A spokesperson said: "PCSO 5424 met with councillor Steven Stoddart at Moorclose to discuss illegal bikes driving dangerously and damaging the green area.
"We will be targeting the area to hopefully identify those responsible, which will result in the seizure of bikes and prosecution under Section 2 of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
"Any information can be anonymously reported to 101 or Crimestoppers."
