Popular 80s rock band Inspiral Carpets are set to perform in Carlisle later this year.
A vital component of the infamous ‘Madchester’ movement, Inspiral Carpets formed in Oldham in 1980.
Known for hit singles such as This Is How It Feels and Saturn 5, they remain much-loved not only in Manchester but across the UK.
This show will be “a celebration of the music we created, which has brought so much joy to people over the last 34 years,” the band said.
Original members Graham Lambert, Stephen Holt and Clint Boon will be joined by Kev Clark and Oscar Boon for their performance at the Old Fire Station on Thursday, July 18.
Tickets cost £25 and are on sale now.
