A PERSON has died after a fire broke out in a house on the outskirts of Carlisle.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said three engines from Carlisle West, Brampton and Penrith were called out at 10.30am this morning to a 'persons reported fire' on Brisco Road.

Crews removed a person from the fire, which was in the living room, and handed them into the care of paramedics.
But a Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the person later died.
Crews were in attendance for two hours.
