A MAN has appeared in court accused of causing grievous bodily harm to his next-door neighbour.
Jack Crone, 44, of Arlecdon Road, Arlecdon, indicated a not guilty plea to GBH with intent when he appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The offence is alleged to have taken place on Arlecdon Road in Arlecdon on May 7 last year.
The case was not suitable to be heard in the magistrates’ court and was sent to Carlisle Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on March 25.
Crone was granted bail on the condition that he does not contact the alleged victim and a named female or enter the curtilage of a named address.
