A WOMAN has appeared in court accused of possessing a knife and assaulting a female at a Lake District hotel.
Amy Dwyer, 24, did not enter pleas to possessing a knife blade in a public place, criminal damage under £5,000 and assault by beating, when she appeared before Workington Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The offences are alleged to have taken place at The George Hotel in Keswick on February 1.
Dwyer, of Grove Road, Brandon, Durham, will appear at Carlisle Crown Court on March 25.
She was granted bail, on the condition that she does not contact the alleged victim in the case or go to The George Hotel in Keswick.
