A Cumbrian charity was delighted to feature in an episode of the BBC One show Escape to the Country.
Eden Animal Rescue played a starring role as host Nicki Chapman visited various areas of Cumbria, including Stainton, Penrith and Orton.
The show tells the story of a northern couple from Bedfordshire, who are looking to move to Cumbria to be close to their eldest son, after the birth of their first grandson Charlie.
Chair of Eden Animal Rescue, Chris Cheetham, features in the episode, as the couple are keen to volunteer at an animal rescue centre when they eventually move north.
On Facebook, they wrote: "We are delighted that we have had the chance to be involve in a episode of Escape to the Country."
The episode showcases the charity and explains more about how they can get involved, whether that be looking after the animals, tending to the grounds or working in the shop.
Throughout the show, the Bedfordshire couple admire the incredible views that Cumbria has to offer, especially around the Lake District, and they opt for a second viewing of the Georgian property they see in Stainton.
