POLICE officers in Cumbria have been taking part in firearms training.
Officers from Carlisle and the Rural Crime Team attended a session at BASC North.
Here they received training around firearms and other aspects of law enforcement.
It also allowed police from different areas to talk over some of the incidents they regularly attend.
A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "Last week we were invited to a local estate by the regional officer BASC North where we received some really useful training around firearms, licences, traps, and general licences.
"It was a great opportunity for officers from our team and Carlisle Police to discuss some of the common incidents we attend, and to improve our ability to respond effectively."
