Lexi the dachshund is excited to attract animal lovers to her pub in Appleby, for a charity quiz night.
Lexi will welcome enthusiastic pub-goers to Crown and Cushion on March 6 to raise funds for Eden Animal Rescue's new kennel block.
The pub, popular for its renowned Dog's Menu, will host the event from 7.30pm.
The pub hopes to raise a part of the massive £500,000 needed to build the new kennel block.
Teams of up to four people will compete in the quiz with food available and a raffle draw.
The entry fee is £3 per person, all of which will contribute towards the animal charity based at Newbiggin’ near Temple Sowerby.
Sarah Bean, the manager of Eden Animal Rescue’s centre, said: "We are so grateful to the Crown and Cushion in Appleby for hosting this event, and to all those who will take part.
"It is set to be a great, fun evening that will really help us raise the money needed to build our new kennel block."
She highlighted how invaluable each donation is, and the difference they make.
Ms Bean said: "Every donation makes a positive difference to our appeal, and we are looking forward to this quiz night in Appleby."
For donors unable to attend, information about the new kennel and ways to contribute to the cause are available on the Eden Animal Rescue website.
