Members of Brampton Knit & Knatter Group raised more than £600 for charities from sales at local events.
They knitted nearly 300 items, including clothing, blankets, and soft toys.
At events, the group found their offerings were snapped up by attendees, amounting to £704 in sales.
The Air Ambulance and Carlisle Refugee Support Group will each receive £300 from the money.
Brampton Knit & Knatter group meets every Wednesday from 9.30am until 12noon at the Brampton Community Centre, welcoming newcomers to join their efforts. It costs £3 per session, with tea, coffee and biscuits available. Attendees can learn to knit from group members or bring along their own creative projects.
