Currock House was abuzz on Sunday as around 500 people of all ages enjoyed a lively community-centred 'Show and Tell' event.
Attendees got the chance to indulge in an array of activities, games, as well as access to community information sessions.
Cumberland Council Communities and Culture officer, Stephen Dunn, said the free event benefitted from an 'eclectic' mix.
"In one of the rooms, we had Little Inventors making wonderful models right next to the Currock Boxing Club, so it was very eclectic.
"It had a great feeling all day and is developing into the event we'd hoped where people can come and have an entertaining free afternoon while hopefully learning or picking something up of value," he said.
A variety of partners joined the day including Carlisle Matters, Cumberland Council's Home Life & Enforcement team, Carlisle Community Panels, Tullie House, CUFC Community Trust, Cancer Champions, and many more.
The event was a prelude to a much bigger spectacle on May 19 in Bitts Park.
Another similar-style event will take place at Botcherby Community Centre on April 20, from 1pm- 4pm.
