NIGEL Farage is airing his live show from Whitehaven.
The broadcaster and former member of the European Parliament is airing his 'Farage At Large: Budget Special' from the West Cumbrian town live on GB News.
Residents have packed out the sold-out show to hear Farage discuss the Spring Budget which was announced earlier today, March 6.
Mr Farage has also invited several other guests onto the show.
Copeland MP Trudy Harrison had a chance to discuss with Farage the topics of nuclear power and plans for the West Cumbrian mine.
At today's Budget, Chancellor Jeremy Hunt announced another 2p cut to National Insurance contributions, following a similar move at last year’s autumn statement.
He told MPs in his Budget that the rate of national insurance for workers earning between £12,570 and £50,270 would reduce from 10 per cent to 8 per cent.
Mr Hunt said change could save the average worker £450 a year, adding up to £900 when combined with last year’s move.
