A NEW beer festival is coming to West Cumbria with organisers saying there is something for everyone across the weekend.
Crooked River Brewing Co and Low Hall The Lakes wedding and events venue will host the North West Beer Fest beer festival at the venue just outside of Cockermouth, on May 24 and 25.
A spokesman for the event said: "After working together on a number of weddings, giving craft loving couples personalised beer cans, the team want to get locals in on the action too, while showcasing the North West’s best craft and cask beers, so together they have created an epic bank holiday for all the family.
"There will be seven breweries in total, including; Lakes Brew Co,Tractor Shed, Hawkheads, and of course Crooked River. An eclectic mix of some of the best local bands and DJs will keep feet dancing with everything from Indie Rock, to Reggae and Ska, Funk, hip hop and a heady mix of house for a good party.
"For foodies, there’s a tasty line up too and for any non beer drinkers the bar will be open selling all the faves.
"Friday night will see Steel Foxes, Home Grown DJs and Simon Kennedy leading the party and for Saturday, the lively line-up includes, The Antics, Reggie, Northern Thread and Danny Maudling.
"Bring the kids along to the party on Saturday day time, when there will be face painting, garden, games, flower crown workshops and more."
Tickets will include a shuttle to and from Cockermouth and are limited, and available via the link here.
