A GREEK street food business has received a 'warm welcome' after hosting its first pop-up stall in Carlisle.
Acropolis Street Food held its first pop-up in the city at Everlast Gym on Currock Road on Thursday, March 15.
The company was set up in 2016 and has gone on to become a staple in the North East with a permanent restaurant in Newcastle's Metrocentre.
Fotis Filippopoulos headed up Acropolis Street Food's first pop-up in Carlisle and thanked the local community for their 'warm welcome' into the city.
He said: "We held our first pop-up event in Carlisle yesterday and we are very touched by the warm welcome we received from the Carlisle audience.
"We have also received a lot of messages asking us to do it again."
