MARYPORT Rescue has a range of fundraising events planned for the coming months.
At the end of March, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt at The Lifeboat Station.
There will also be a fun day, a dog show, and a tug-of-war event held on June 22. Maryport Rescue aims to have the RAF Falcon Parachute Display Team and a flyover by the Lancaster bomber.
A spokesperson said: "Being an independent organization, these are just a couple of the fundraising events we do every year to keep the service afloat, we need to find £43k a year to run and are always grateful for the support the local and wider community give us.
"2023 ended on a massive high for the organization we were awarded the Kings Award for Voluntary Service, and the LUX Life Magazine Nautical Tourism Award Northwest 2023, we thank all our supporters, families, and dedicated crew for their unwavering support."
