TWO men have been charged after their vehicle was stopped entering Cumbria on the A66 at Brough on March 14.
Removed from the vehicle was 1kg of cannabis.
Mark Prenga, 44, of no fixed address and Alfred Lleshi, 45, of Brampton Drive, London, have both been charged with possession with the intent to supply a Class B drug.
Both were due to appear before South Cumbria Magistrates Court today (15 March).
The seizure forms part of Operation Alliance - Cumbria Constabulary’s ongoing response to protect the county against serious and organised crime.
