An event to bring together northern business leaders is being launched next month.
The Leadership Summit will include keynote speakers and workshops to provide practical skills to increase productivity in the workplace.
HR consultancy firm, Realise HR and the Cumbrian Centre for Leadership Performance (CfLP) have joined forces to create the event being held in Workington.
Keynote speakers include Dr Zoe Billings, Partner at Adapt and Evolve Consultancy and Jim Perks CBE, Head of Future Workforce Strategy at BAE.
The day will also include a series of workshops including how leaders can adapt their style to engage a diverse team, boosting team well-being and resilience and how to learn from others to raise the leadership game across the region.
Dr Billings said: “You are not born a leader, it’s something you develop because of your role, your values and your passion.
"It’s an art and carries with it a huge responsibility. I’m delighted to be opening the 2024 Leadership Summit, so we can all support leaders of the future as they build better, stronger, higher-performing teams.”
